Man and Child on a bridge
in Guangzhou 2008
Late afternoon in Guangzhou there is a motorcycle accident.
The child is injured on the road while the traffic just lines up
and waits for drama to finish. No one offers to help. I am whisked away
in my train wondering this pairs fate.
China is always seen as a giant economic powerhouse casting a shadow
over the future. But this is made possible by little people,
with their own personal experience of life, the small humanities
